TNT China University
TNT China University is aiming at providing training opportunities for TNT employees, new staff and its partners. This university is a result of the cooperation between TNT China and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Antai College of Management). This is the first corporate university of in the logistics industry in China.

　　Teachers of this university are combination of subject of matters and internal functional trainers. Besides, the university also invites some TNT experts and professional expertise externally so as to enable participants to cultivate the knowledge and skills with a global view. The external consultants will offer their professional knowledge and TNT global experts will bring their benchmarking experiences and best practice to TNT China as well.

　　In 2006, TNT China University has carried out 75 core training lessons covering such courses as leadership training, soft skills, functional operation training and core curriculum nation-wide. The number of the employees trained has exceeded 1850. It also provides 13875 training opportunities and the number of training days per person annually hits 7.5 days with 85% satisfaction rate which has surpassed the average level of her counterparts.

　　With the aim to be accessible to employees, TNT China University currently has 4 locations: at the head office and the main campus at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, at the regional offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.

　　As China is the vast land with different geographical distribution, TNT China University has applied Train the Trainers methodologies to build internal trainer team to enable more colleagues with energy and passion to deliver the courses and sharing their knowledge. This model has proved to be successful one.

　　In future, TNT China University will expand further in four regions of east, west, north, south as well as Hongkong and Taiwan so as to fuel with TNT corporate and regional development strategy. Besides, the training course offerings will put more emphasis on building capabilities and competencies of the employees. Through various approaches as induction, e-learning, coaching, classroom training, teambuilding, cross-functional communication, leadership training and overseas training, TNT China University will create the solid platform and be catalyst to develop, train and grow of future leaders and be part of their life.
